Renewed Hope

Yes.. That's renewed hope I have now after my piano exams YET again.. Darn. Yes I think a pass should be waving at me right now. I got Gershwin for my aural!!! AAHHH!!! That's like the last thing I expected. That's the first piece of Nostra Voce [TWE ALumni Woodwind Quintet]..But the examiner guy plays well lah.. Mr. Ian Warwick. He was doing intensive piano studies at 16 can?! Read his scary profile pasted to a wall of my music school. Nice guy lah.. Gave me second chance for my slips. Unfortunately I could hear no bass line for aural. I so have to look towards that beam of hope shining down on me.

Pass and Jojo, Jeremy and Lilian will be dining at a place of they're choice. Places like Fullerton may be avoided due to the unnecessary stress we would experience there stemming from their uncompatibility with our status.. (or maybe my wallet). :)

Oh jolly good, SAJC ensembles are going to perform for Queen Elizabeth. Let's go out there and rock that British house! *No violent intentions are used in this word rock, rather it is part of juvenile lingo of the world's current youthful population.

Yet another opportunity for the house to be rocked, tomorrow is senior-meet-junior session in SAJC! Wooh that is so fun! Haha.. Right. Honestly, J1s who are reading this.. you would probably waste half an hour of your life being kept in a classroom of disorganised J2s who are meeting you for the sake of meeting you, because the student councillor guy said tomorrow is senior-meet-junior-session. Please forgive your apathetic seniors if you actually feel like that.

05S61 on the other hand.. let's show them what we've* got. =) *Not everything appears so bright and cheery.

Great news!: Joining this batch of current J1s will be 5 appeal-ees so far. The word to take note of is SO FAR. I'm praying that we'll be able to welcome the next 5 with open arms too.

Read a letter thingy in today's Today newspaper forum. There's this nice little lady who helped her elderly mother write in to the press to express their desire for grandmothers to receive a slice of the reward-our-contributing-Singaporeans-with-cash pie or simply-election goodies. WHAT HAS THIS WORLD COME TO?! Grandmothers actually expect incentives from the gahmen for taking care of their own grandchildren??!! Save our materialistic souls man! Back in ancient days grandmothers were simply grandmothers, embracing their offspring's little bundles of joy with love and care. Now there's a monetary value attached to being a grandmother??!!

Oh I remember my grandmother used to give me money so that I would sit still for her to cut my hair. (Unfortunately, due to my chubby innocence and lack of knowledge I used to lose that piece of paper with an apparent value to adults coz I couldn't be bothered with holding on to something that wasn't nice to chew on.)

How coincidentally mature babies can be.. They are not trapped by the ways of the world where shameful adults love money-and the love of money is the root of all evil.

And how wonderful a friend can be. =) Look over at the little box on your right. Overlooking all immaturity, fear, vengence, a sadistic mind, wasting of time to try to bring me down, I see eS`and Jessica. Coincidentally they play the same instrument.

Yes these people are worth knowing in life, where even after you don't see each other regularly you still pop around and build someone up. That's the joy of living-making someone's life enriched! Have no fear.. for eS' is here.

I can't say the same for our other sad friend over there who probably has no inkling of what it's like to be a blessing to others. Oh but look on the bright side.. our sad friend actually has some morality living in him/her by not influencing young readers out there to spew certain 4 letter F words like fart, fish, foul, fold, fawn, fork, font, feel, felt etc. I see some hope in that..

So this is to all young kids out there.. spend your time doing productive and fruitful things for this life we're living is a short one.. You don't want to leave this comfy planet Earth and be likened to pestilence e.g. cockroaches.

*Smack*

I pray for Lilian's lit block test tomorrow.

I pray for 05s61.

I pray for Life Concert!

Emmanuel!! Our God is with us!
