8 Days and counting..

AAHH!!!

10th August outing rocks! Thanks Wei Jian!!

I woke up at 8.32, unsure if Rickson was going to continue his bowling plans from last night, but anyway Rickson, Chong Hu and I ended up at Tampines Safra. Juling reached slightly later and our resident Royston Ang Mo Kio never survived the trip off his bed.

9am
Rick: Guang Rong ah, where are you?
GR: (Partially dreamy voice) Ohh.. leaving house already.

12pm
Rick: Guang Rong ah, where are you?
GR: (Partially dreamy voice) Ohh.. I just woke up.

Since Mo Kio and Juling wern't there Rick, Chong and I warmed up first and played their games. Initially, the score was Rick-9, Me-9 and Chong Hu-0.. Haha. Then the queen of bowling Juling arrived and straight away got a STRIKE can?! Ah!! I suck.
Final positions of the bowling group was:
1st-Juling
2nd-Chong Hu
3rd-Mo Kio (who wasn't even there!!)
4th-Me
5th-Rick

Rickson went to meet his MJ friends and the rest of us wanted to look for Benny swimming all by his sorry little self at the pool but we ended up in a coffeshop gorging down highly fatty food. Meeting Rick again, our 2nd pitstop was the library- where we saw Tim's brother!(with this unknown girl)

Finally everyone got together at 1pm, even Tim was there. Diana, was scheduled to come, but had something on.. Proceeding to Thai Express at the Esplanade we enthusiastically sat down, only to find a menu with food like King Klap Kapi Kung?, and Khao?. So the waitress came over and we told her our order's serial no. instead, and she can remember all 50 over dishes. I go 6103 and she says,"Oh that's the prawn fried rice for you sir" and Chong Hu wants 9501 - Tiger beer.
In the meantime, Tim's book on Phobia entertains us, with selections such as Altophobia, Erotophobia, Euphobia, Hippoptamusediasomething phobia and even Zatophobia, which the army is going to contract soon.
The food was good. I shared the King Klap Kapi Kung thing with Juling with a very expensive Bundung, high-classedly known as Thai Rose Milk, which tastes the same as the one I make at home for 1.37 cents.

After a HUGE meal, the arrival of GR the sleepy, emoing around at the merlion and waving to some Americans and Japanese (Alan), we went to catch "The Village".
The Village is about this happy village in the middle of the country side with some evil creatures lurking in Pasir Ris mansionettes.. Oops, the woods. So the villagers get terrorised and Chong Hu sleeps half an hour into the show. Woohoohoo.. but there is a twist, no, 2 to the story. They twist so much until the pimple on the tip of my nose burst. Anyway, the show's quite unpredictable and may be worth your money.

Here's the fun part!

Let's skip the dinner part..

Pearlyn line dance was DJ-ing at the fountain of wealth so must support her right? All of us ran down to the LARGEST Fountain in the World and watched the much anticipated laser show! which was so boring...

Unknown to everyone till the last minute, Zat dedicated a song to our favourite couple.

So for an ass cringing 10 minutes, we were bobbing up and down waiting for Pearlyn to read out the dedication.
Then the stupid laser show came in again! Argh

Finally:
"This is a very special dedication going out to Roy and Joan.. may your love blossom and you get a football team soon." Yar.. I think it was something like that.. Haha. Drama! Joan shed a tear, and another one, and another one! AAHH!!.. So touching..

Hey hey.. that's not all.

So GR wanted revenge!!!

Next: "This goes out to Zat, from all of us over here. May you get tortured in the army and take care." Aww.. double happiness.

But it's not over yet! That cheeky young man went to Pearlyn again..

"And here's a dedication from Roy to Joan. I'm really sorry for making you sad and I love you forever and ever and ever and ever..(exaggerrated)" Haha. Awwwwww... Honey's sticking to me.. The bees are stinging me. Our fat, ugly and childish little rascal has all grown up. Into a fine young man at that. Can't stand it!

Guang Rong rocks..

Happy 10th of July outing.
