Emo..

Was going through my archives and reliving the shit and joy i had been going through for the past one and a half years.

I saw this post after i had quarrelled with Zat. It started cause an sms i sent him sounded idiotic cause there were 2 ways to read it- a good and a bad. I still remember he smsed me a sorry in chinese with the help of juling(?) and i also said something like sorry.. haha. And everything was ok again!

Alan: Sms and msn is not always a good way to communicate often with ppl..

And there's another one where i had this impossible dream of playing in a TWE bassoon quartet before leaving the band. Just as i predicted.. it's still quite impossible coz my section doesn't have the quantity and quality.

The Premiere 16 one really cracked me up! I had this conversation with Kamal who god knows where he is now?

A conversation between me and Kamal:
K:Eh faster keep your instrument!!! So long never see u already!!! I want to rape u...so cute...
me:U noe the small flute boy?He cuter than me wat.
K:He's underaged lah...
me:-_-'''

Another conversation:
K:Eh...this is Yamuna...my senior.
me:Oh!!! The one with a blog ah?!
Yamuna:Eh?How u noe? Stupid Zat!!!
K:Wats a blog?

There's also my personal one with Guang Rong when i was shouting a bit at him back then when he was irritating, unberable, a pain in the ass and a nuisance compared to his current "I want to be Guang Rong" status i gave him. I said a sorry to him in that post.

Looking back in the pre premiere times there's:
Tml is our second biggest day,but what do we lack?
1.Do not talk unnecessarily.(everyone, especially UPPERWINDS and CLARINETS)
2.Stop when the conductor stops.Why do you waste your time going on?(everyone, especially saxaphones and clarinets)
3.Always look at the conductor for tempo changes, entrances(coming in) and dynamic changes etc.(everyone)
4.Look smart-Sit straight, carry your instrument properly, what's with the leg thingy?Don't show it when u make a mistake on stage, look and be confident. (everyone)
5.Keep in tune at all times.(everyone, especially horns)
6.Listen to each other.(everyone)
7.Do not play into your stand(trumpets)
8.Always check key signature.(everyone)
9.Push low and unstable notes(everyone)
10.Be organised and precise.(everyone)
11.Make sure everything is in order, file, stand and instrument must be perfectly checked.(everyone)
12.Feel the pulse, don't tap it.Humans take time to react and will bring down the tempo.(everyone,especially percussion)
13.Know when to feel the pulse and when to count it.(everyone, especially percussion)
14.Know who has the same part as you and make sure both of u are playing the part correctly, in the same way.(everyone)
15.Be musical, don't be afraid to show it.(everyone)
16.Do your best and work hard.Ask the correct person if u are unsure about anything.(everyone)
17.Go at the same tempo as required.Don't rush or lag behind.It will confuse everyone.(everyone)
18.Give way to soloists who are too soft.(everyone)
19.Play with emotion and dynamics if you have a solo.Do u noe how lucky u are to have one?When was the last time you even saw me playing a soli?(soloists)
20.learn from youe mistake and never repeat them again.(everyone)
i can go on and on, but due to time constraint, i have to stop here.i can be sure that in our band, only 1 or 2 ppl have these traits.I definitely do not have all of them, but still everyone must strive hard to achieve success.

How in the world did i come up with that?! I think it's a Concert Master thing.

How bout the time when Cheryl and Li Ming were my partners in crime. Counting ticket money running around as the concert managers.

And there was the time is was growing up with all the relationship and love shit.. Now that i look back it's so embarassing.. Haha. Zat don't start ah..

FYI I just mutilated vanessa's toe by stepping on it during water games.. Vanessa: Take care and get well soon! Sorry! If u need some medicated oil thing just call me.

Oh yar.. and I don't remember Malorie being the QM.

One of my personal favourites:
Is there something going on between the two of you?

Zat:"I don't care! We are going to ur house later..."

Even then, Guang Rong slipped onto bus 38 and went home---without us.(Zat, Aaron, Audrey, me)
Anyway...an 18 appeared immediately, and led by Zat, we went to tail him.(lame sia...but fun) So we stopped at the bustop at Guang Rong's house, then the confusion began...

"Where ah?", "Which way to go?"

Call!!! First on the list...Daryl,next, Alan,followed by...Wei Jian, Li Ming, Mei Qi, Zhi Jian, then Daryl again..
"Blk 226, 9th floor"-Wei Jian
So there we went up all the way to the 9th floor..but found no sign of GR.
"I have a strong feeling that it's this house with the surveillance camera"-Zat
Anyway, we still couldn't find it....*_*
Waiting downstairs for him...
At last.He came down in that blue shirt and some kind of short pants.

The ignoring from Zat began.

GR:"Hey-eh dun be like dat lar.."
Zat:(nothing)
Zat:U suck..
GR:Really?! errh....

So comical...they looked like a couple quarreling.(This is what happened Guang Rong)

Not forgetting the post where my inspiration came from a cheese cake.

Presents long ago were so unique.. Aaron had his CD dedications from eveyone, Rickson got the handprints, footprints and butt prints, Suan Sen got a pillow designed by Guang Rong and signed by us, Zat got the tree branches that Guang Rong, Ju Ling, Rickson and I went to pick up from the mangrove swamp and Zhi Jian got the wonderful huge frame full of photos!

And going through Rickson's photo albums there's the one where the 2003 committee took.. Jealousy..

Of course the more recent one's are "Sunny! Nanananana nanana.." Where i met Kenneth and Lynette for the first time. All the line dancing rocks and still rocks posts.

Last but not least, we came we sat down and we vwwapppedd! How can anyone cry from the Victoria Concert Hall to the black raffles statue to the freaking SBS bus?

Sui Generis means unique in latin.
