Band rocks the house @ Copthorne Orchid!

Oh yeah! Band dinner was a tremendous success!

After all that crazy preparation everday, rehearsing and present-making it was all worth it for the J2s. =) Here's big THANK YOU to Eef for a wonderful masterplan and of course the various committees, choreographers, technical crew, actors and dancers, teachers and everyone else who contributed in one way or another.

The play was a hit man! Woohoo! Cheuk's a marvellous actor and Master Janice Yoda was so cute.. The storyline basically goes as follows:

Jie (Cheuk) is minding his own business playing persis on his flute at the beach when he meets this mysterious girl (Geraldine). He romantically follows her and sees her face, realising that she is Ju-on! Then the persis running part comes playing as he runs around Sentosa to escape from her.

Cornered at the end of the beach, he desperately hurls himself into the sea and ends up in Merry Widow land. There, couples are waltzing around and he meets the Merry Widow (Xiao Han). They dance the night away, but suddenly, Ju-on appears and Jie goes fleeing like a maniac into Shanghai.

The Shanghai showgirls go about their nightly performances when Jie hurries in. Resident Mamasan (Moses Tan) gathers his ladies and when they see that Shuai Ge (Fake Jie) they just go bonkers and start flirting with him. While Jie is enjoying the moment again, our good friend Ju-on saunters in and scare the nightlights out of the girls and their mamasan. A running he goes again.

Most impressively, our courageous hero finds himself in a Masquerade where couples and gigolos dawning masks are in a ballroom, looking their finest and dancing away. Slowly, everyone congregates to the centre of the stage and all hand-held fans open to a Masquerading finale-which is interrupted by the Phantom herself, our friendly neighbourhood Ju-on (irritating.. keep on showing up, like a mosquito like that).

Frantically, Jie sprints off, only to trip over something green, short, has long ears and a broom stick (which is supposed to be a lightsabre). He realizes that Yoda (Janice) he is and is told, "Confront your fears you must!"

And so, Jie and Yoda embark on a long ardous journey to the ends of the Earth to confront Ju-on. At the 2nd level of Jacob Ballas Performing Arts Centre, they finally chance upon the mysterious character and Jie taps her shoulder. Slowly, the figure in white turns her head..

and the ending is censored due to artistic values.

From SAJC band members the ending will be revealed..

Went to Lilian's place to stay over and celebrate Hubert's birthday together with Cheryl, Jeremy, Jojo, Jun Jie, Koi, Serene and Cheuk. Moses Tan was pushed into the pool bout 15 times and he failed to push everyone else in..

Back in the house Shrek 2 was on, drenched people were shivering and sliding around on mats, sleeping areas were choped and I was so severely
surrounded by awkwardness. Trying so hard to keep to the wall and sleep on the freaking hard wooden chair. Haha. Lilian was being a bright sunshine on the 'upstairs', Jun Jie and I were bright minus the sunshine part. Cheuk took to the floor in the room and Koi was a sandwich.

Moses Tan took the bed lah! Shiok ah that bed..

Lilian's ah ma was trying to be funny when she asked 'Leng ma? wo bu hui guan eh." (Cold or not? I don't know how to off the aircon) a few million times. Walking round and round the dining table trying to off the aircon in the wee hours of the morn when 9 teenagers are trying to shut their brains into slumber is quite funny. Haha.. We were laughing all through the morning lah.

Koi has a knack for socialising with granmothers.

I pray for my piano exam.

I pray for Cheuk and Reagan.

I thank God for the success he has given us in all the J1 events.
