Saturday, March 01, 2003 Is there something going on between the two of you? Zat:"I don't care! We are going to ur house later..." Even then, Guang Rong slipped onto bus 38 and went home---without us.(Zat, Aaron, Audrey, me) Anyway...an 18 appeared immediately, and led by Zat, we went to tail him.(lame sia...but fun) So we stopped at the bustop at Guang Rong's house, then the confusion began... "Where ah?", "Which way to go?" Call!!! First on the list...Daryl,next, Alan,followed by...Wei Jian, Li Ming, Mei Qi, Zhi Jian, then Daryl again.. "Blk 226, 9th floor"-Wei Jian So there we went up all the way to the 9th floor..but found no sign of GR. "I have a strong feeling that it's this house with the surveillance camera"-Zat Anyway, we still couldn't find it....*_* Waiting downstairs for him... At last.He came down in that blue shirt and some kind of short pants. The ignoring from Zat began. GR:"Hey-eh dun be like dat lar.." Zat:(nothing) Zat:U suck.. GR:Really?! errh.... So comical...they looked like a couple quarreling.(This is what happened Guang Rong) a ranting by Eugene at 9:39 PM Sunday, February 23, 2003 Premier 16!!! It was 24 and a half hrs ago...but i can still remember it so vividly... Although there was very little preparation and it was very very very short, we shook the shit out of the audience yesterday!!!(pls forgive me for being so crude) But first i have to thank the following ppl: Zat for doing practically everything from booklet to conducting 5 songs. Wei Jian,Audery and Zhi Jian for making sure everything was like usual. Guang Rong and gang for the best hand-made banner in the history of the band. Alan, Li Keng, Samuel, Kekang, Aaron, Jacintha, Wei Jian(again), Zhi Jian(again), Wang Quan, Suan Sen, Rickson, Juling, Jethro, Weiliang, Hakim, Jing Qin, Jing Fang, Selvam, Tim, Audery(again), Daryl and anyone else whose name is not mentioned here for helping with the stage setup. Celiana, Kekang(again), Theresa, Debbie, Jannah and everyone else who helped to write Jannah's name in the 600 booklets. Everyone for doing their best last night in all ways. SLs and anyone else who handed in their ticket money on time. Rickson(again) and Malorie for coping so well with their QM stuff. Lijun for her good work in the scores and files side. Juling(again) for collecting debts so well. Magdelene for attending to the uniforms department so that everyone got their uniforms. AV, Jimmy Wong and photography for helping with lighting and recording. Sec 1s, councilors and everyone else who helped with ushering. Non-teaching staff for helping with hall setup and other areas. Oh yar..Wang Quan(again), Kang Zhuang and Jing Fang(again) for helping to mop up the mess created by the tables. Li Ming and Cheryl for helping to count ticket money, put up posters and alot of other things. Rickson(i think i'll do off with the again), Jodin, Li Keng, Jacintha, Li Ming, Cheryl, Vanessa, Malorie, Jing Fang, Kang Zhuang, Yu Ying, Wendy, Yilin, Vivian and everybody else who helped to fold 600 booklets. Samuel, Alan, Tim and everyone else who helped to staple the booklets. Guang Rong, Lynn and Wei Jian for helping to bring banner materials home and back again. Zat for buying TP paint. Mr. Chin(whoever he is) for supplying some paint. Mr Jared Oh who stayed back so late to lock up the school after us. Ms. Lela for forking out money for the banner and alot of other things. Mr. Eng for opening up the band store? Mrs Ho for inviting the guest-of honour(s). Ms Wan for taking us for 6 years and now going over to dance. Mr Glosz for putting up with us who are totally different from his other bands. Mr Pan for taking the sec 2s. Daryl for working so hard although he had only a short time. Xingwen and kekang for being so dedicated. Selvam(?) for making the trombones the best section.(joking ah selvam...:p) Liza for looking so "drill" like. Zat for taking us for the 10% of SYF points in drills. Mei Qi for taking attendance every practice. I think i better stop or else i dun need to get off the com.And lastly everyone who contributed in one way or another... No thanks to Miss Farizah(the mental one) for showing that bloody looking face when we were trying to rush the banner on fri. Premier 16 went much more smoothly than i expected... 7.30 In the morning i came with a shoulder pain.Sorry Rickson for not greeting u as enthusiastically as you greeted me.I played for a while than cannot tahan already so i stopped playing and went to help with the banner downstairs with Juling and the perc section. Juling's cookies are heavenly!!!If they are a bit more crunchy it would be a brand name soon. 12.47 The new uniforms came unexpectadly along with Guang Rong's T-shirt.GR commented that the front looked like all the coffee shop ah-peh wear one. 4.00 Li Keng was the first of the audience to be seated. 4.30 The proper audience started to stream in. 4.50 Candace arrived!!! 5.00 Aaron started hosting. 5.23 Interval 6.30 End of the concert. So many familiar and unfamiliar faces... Candace!!!, Christina, Kamal!!!, Aki, Felicia, Joe, Jym, Thien Fui!!!, Isabel, David!!!, and more were all crowded at the band room before we even arrived. After so long...at last they were here again...i missed them so much. A conversation between me and Kamal: K:Eh faster keep your instrument!!! So long never see u already!!! I want to rape u...so cute... me:U noe the small flute boy?He cuter than me wat. K:He's underaged lah... me:-_-''' Another conversation: K:Eh...this is Yamuna...my senior. me:Oh!!! The one with a blog ah?! Yamuna:Eh?How u noe? Stupid Zat!!! K:Wats a blog? me, Yamuna:-_-''' I'm gonna miss last night alot...it's one of the best night's i've had in the band... Comments:The concert was too short, lighting was a bit too dark...other than that the concert rocks!!! Everyone i asked for comments from said that.From ppl of other schools to my parents. Btw, the green view bassonist was there and her name is like Nurzaty. Zat ur sister ah? =) The whole of yesterday will always remain in my memories... a ranting by Eugene at 6:15 PM |
