Tuesday, September 28, 2004 Pot calling the kettle black Oh man... Haha! Have you heard about the Taiwanese Foreign Ministry spokesman calling Singapore a "pee sai"? He was like,"Even Singapore, an island the size of pee sai can criticize us(Taiwan) in front of the UN". Right.. I've not been having a life for 3 freaking weeks now due to the phenomenem known as the PRELIMS. Today I proclaim that i'm free! Ok, maybe only for 2 days.. BUT, still free! My class is holding a birthday BBQ (the cemetery can hold a roasting party?!) for 2 of our boys whose birthdays fall on the 28th and 29th. And speaking of birthdys.. HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHERYL AND YI MEI! I need to thank God and my (praying) mother. Last Friday I made my usual journey on bike to my tuition teacher's place. There's this mechanical part that came out from my front wheel and everytime I rode on it there will be an eroding sound. Finally, the day of judgement came and the whole front wheel just dislodged from the bike while I was somewhere near Aaron's place. Just 60s before, I was speeding down a hill of immensely steep gradient with semi-worn-out brakes. Had the front wheel dislodged then I would probably have ended up as a heap of limbs rolling down the slope. Phew.. So I had to carry the whole bicycle to tuition, resulting in EXTREMELY PAINFUL arms. Struggling with shivering forelimbs, I took twice the amount of time to write down an equation and my elbows couldn't bend at an angle lesser than 90 degrees. Besides all that action, the scientific side of me was also quite occupied - doing research. My results show that I have no idea which JC to choose between TJ, VJ and SA. After accessing the various college websites however, I think i'm going to take a subject combination as follows: 1)C maths 2)Econs 3)Bio 4)Chem JCians, could you give me some advice?
