So tou-ching..

Contrary to my plan of no-life studying today, I took a break in the afternoon to fulfill a date with Rickson (organiser) and the usual people.

I haven't seen Lynn in such a long time!!!
Guang Rong also!!!

Midway to Suntec City, Wendy posed an E(lementary) maths question as follows:
A first man takes 6 hours to paint a wall. The second takes 4 hours, with the third clocking 3 hours and a fourth chap, just 2 hours. How long will they take if they combine forces?

Our enthusiastic E(ngineering) Maths champion, Chong Hu decided to take up the challenge and arrived at an answer of 45 minutes-extremely confidently. Is Chong Hu correct?

Solve these 2 questions and show me your answers! Rick, Jules, Wendy, Lynn and Wei Jian are banned from participating! Zat is allowed a second chance to ponder through it since he happily considers factors such as the brand of paint used.. or maybe the colour of paint.. size of wall.. coz 4 people can't possibly paint a small wall.. Haha.

The 9th of October 2004, 1550 hours is officially my first NC-16 movie! Which Edmund dared and taunted me into watching since he would be cowering under a pillow if he was the one in the cinema. Resident Evil:Apocalypse is quite freaky and gruesome. The part where the disgusting, repulsive creature wrapped it's tongue around the guy's head and pulled him into it's mouth totally gave me a shock. My hand flew up into the air like a reflex action (a bit only..), much to Lynn's amusement. Speaking of Lynn, she and Wendy are 15! Anyway, with the sight of lumbering zombies devouring humans.. I can understand why they gave it an NC-16 rating.. Even muscleman Chong Hu got the creeps! Don't try to deny ah Chong..

I'm going to show Edmund the ticket stub.

The reason why I was so tou-ched came as a surprise birthday cake (3 weeks late, but still topped with sincerity) codenamed "Ice cap". In reality, it was a mango fruity cake from Polar which cost each contributer $2.. Haha. Either Rick, Zat or Wei Jian masterminded it and was quite a good mastermind at that. I only found out just before the movie. So after the movie we happily congregated in a little corner of Suntec City and unveiled the treat. Luckily there weren't any candles involved..

Passerbys must have thought that we were a little mental holding a party right smack on the top floor of the mall side. There was the traditional birthday song which tou-ched my heart and I got the honour to make the first cut. The expert cake-slicer Juling then took over, using an innovative method of torn cake box as plates.
As usual, Chong Hu was eyeing the cake and waiting in eager anticipation to satisfy his raging taste buds. Unfortunately, this caught the attention of both Rickson and me and he ended up getting more than he bargained for, literally(more cake).

Thanks Zat, Wei Jian, Rickson, Chong Hu, Juling, Lynn,Wendy, Joy and Joan!

I want a Bassoon CD~!

On the way to the MRT, Guang Rong was speeding his way through the weekend crowd to meet his friend to participate in some sort of transaction. Apparently he handed a little blue plastic bag to his friend in exchange for $90. Hmm..

MJ band tune-in is on the 16th of October, time to be confirmed by Rickson. Any interested sec 4s (eg. Selvam) can turn up to look around.

If anyone knows when the SAJC, TJ or VJ band tune-ins are scheduled to take place, could you leave a YO!? Thank you.

Lest I arouse the suspicion of the CNB, the $90 was GR's wages for distributing flyers.
