Busy

Tml is premier 16...so rush ah this year?

I must commend the banner ppl for the hard woork they put in today, hand-making the banner. They really got the job on its way fast and efficiently, adding the circumstances thay faced...
Mr. A is often criticised by ppl, but today he actually said two very important words"Thank you".They may seem insignificant, but they tell ppl that they are appreciated, and will not go unnoticed for their contributions.I feel what Mr. A did would bring him results and due respect if he continues to do it.Instead of constantly saying "u suck" or slapping ppl in the face, which do not leave very good impressions.

Tml is our second biggest day,but what do we lack?
1.Do not talk unnecessarily.(everyone, especially UPPERWINDS and CLARINETS)
2.Stop when the conductor stops. Why do you waste your time going on?(everyone, especially saxaphones and clarinets)
3.Always look at the conductor for tempo changes, entrances(coming in) and dynamic changes etc.(everyone)
4.Look smart-Sit straight, carry your instrument properly, what's with the leg thingy?Don't show it when u make a mistake on stage, look and be confident. (everyone)
5.Keep in tune at all times.(everyone, especially horns)
6.Listen to each other.(everyone)
7.Do not play into your stand(trumpets)
8.Always check key signature.(everyone)
9.Push low and unstable notes(everyone)
10.Be organised and precise.(everyone)
11.Make sure everything is in order, file, stand and instrument must be perfectly checked.(everyone)
12.Feel the pulse, don't tap it.Humans take time to react and will bring down the tempo.(everyone, especially percussion)
13.Know when to feel the pulse and when to count it.(everyone, especially percussion)
14.Know who has the same part as you and make sure both of u are playing the part correctly, in the same way.(everyone)
15.Be musical, don't be afraid to show it.(everyone)
16.Do your best and work hard.Ask the correct person if u are unsure about anything.(everyone)
17.Go at the same tempo as required.Don't rush or lag behind. It will confuse everyone.(everyone)
18.Give way to soloists who are too soft.(everyone)
19.Play with emotion and dynamics if you have a solo.Do u noe how lucky u are to have one? When was the last time you even saw me playing a soli?(soloists)
20.learn from youe mistake and never repeat them again.(everyone)
i can go on and on, but due to time constraint, i have to stop here.i can be sure that in our band, only 1 or 2 ppl have these traits.I definitely do not have all of them, but still everyone must strive hard to achieve success.

Discipline should be obtainied by now...but why are ppl still talking and laughing loudly when the sec 2's are trying out their pieces on stage? It's their first time. What if the audience inside the hall hear u?U r just gonna continue rite? That's what i observed on thursday's rehearsal.I don't care...i'm going to mention all the ppl who were talking and laughing loudly when we were outside the hall.
1.Guang Rong(according to volume from loudest to softest of the noisy ones)
2.Kat
3.Wei Jian
4.Jacintha
5.Theresa
6.Meiling
7.Lynn
8.Jannah
9.Xingwen
10.Yee Ching
11.Jia Yan
I'm very sorry to mention ur name but i definitely think that i have to do this. Are u going to be doing this on the real day?Do u think a rehearsal doesn't need to be taken seriously? If u think i'm wrong go and ask Tim.We were discussing on whose mouths were the biggest that day while leaning on the wall.If u want to talk, talk softly can?I gave the "eye" to everybody listed above. Some responded.Others didn't give a shit. How old are all of u?This is what u want the sec 1's to become rite?Notice all of them are from upperwinds and clarinets? That may enlighten you on why upperwinds and clarinets are highlighted in the above statement.
I'm utterly disappointed in the whole bunch...

Yawnz

"Ah-tack is very importent"-Mr. Yamamoto
I just had the worse woodwinds sectionals in my whole life...everybody was doing their own thing and not listening to Tim.They think he small size can bully him ah?Or just can't be bothered?Horrible...

Went to Tampines Mac after band to have a light dinner and discuss about the banner with guang Rong and Zat.Guess what, Miss lela came along half way, so we went to buy banner materials. On the way Miss lela went to withdraw money...Lynn announced to the whole world all the contents in the bank account(which will not be disclosed here for security reasons).
"Time has never been on our side"-Zat
4 days to premier, 3 days to get the banner up, 15 min to buy paint from challenger, 5 mins to buy $31.60 worth of styrofoam from popular...
Zat sucked up the remaining money on the booklets depriving gr from 2 cab rides...

Lucky i pass my chemistry and geog...now left A maths...and tml got physics test...zzZZzZZ

Sniff

I finish all my homework...except chinese test corrections...can someone from 3/1 lend me if u see this plea for help?thanks!(this one no need liao)

Yesterday got drills with instrument, so fun!First time i can carry a piccolo legally(unfortunately it's condemned). While everybody was suffering with their big instruments(especially Aaron) i was there carrying that little instrument everybody would love to carry during drills.
Wanted to go to Juling's house yesterday, then guang rong said:"Until 9+" so cannot go lor...i nv go before...so wasted...nvm, still got next time.
Sometimes i can't believe what i can do.The human brain is so creative...when it is used in the right way. When used wrongly, it will result to disastrous effects...like world war 1 and 2, american civil war, terrorism, breaking someone's heart etc.
I feel as if i'm re-living sec 2.My sister keeps on asking me about elements, factorisation, isotopes blah blah...indirect revision

Tim is so good at music composition. Our future band theme song-"Rhapsody for cuteness".He should play his national education song for us one day...it's more like "All about jazz from Tim".
So talented...
