Flowing along in my way

3 words: GP is crazy.

Economics has taught me that the opportunity cost of completing my GP application question was my one hour of "LOST!". It's the 3rd consecutive week i'm missing it. Argh. Next thurs must watch, don't care.

Now, to bloggable stuff.

Concluded a GP content lecture on the mass media just now. Speaker was an ex-saint with a multitude of documents certifying that he had a soaring level of education. Actually survived a GP lecture for the first time. It was quite insightful, especially the part about Wikipedia. Just as the Dr. was putting into words the mechanism of Wikipedia I realised that it was the mechanism I use on this very page; to publish moderate views that my adversaries would not likely bother to rebutt.

A charmingly good example would be the post which mentioned our tuba friend, which is still stirring up heated debate. My initial ideas on penning it down could be called "extremist", "anger-driven" and "derogatory". But decided to tone it down and provide a more rational analysis of the situation; although I still have no idea why he has to provoke unnecessarily a band which his alumni are in.
I have one chinese proverb like thing for him: you2 yong3 wu2 mou2. (Direct translation: Got guts no brains.)

For goodness sake it's the school crest you're flying, not your own.

Anyway, if you shift your round eyes to the right you would have nticed that my tagboard is up again. Phew.. Finally. Must thank Sandra Lim my favourite double bassist, ok, the only double bassist I know. She got it done in like 5 mins where I had to rush homework and projects. JC life is too squeezed up man.

Got a private compliment from stuart little. =)

I think it's meant to be. During the GP lecture it already dropped off and when I reached into my pocket while bumping around in the SBS bus.. It was gone! Yup, so taking the loss as an indicator that things were way back and it's time for me to move on. But! There's always a but right Farah? But how do I define "move on". So do I just soldier on by mugging and motivating people for the next year? Or do I work on Operation Lion? I doubt Operation Lion will succeed, we're in the short run man..

Oh yeah.. back to the GP lecture. Will this post take me to the principal's office? Haha. Why do 17 year olds just keep on shooting their mouths off whenever they are seated in an auditorium. I was so embarrased for the school when the speaker had to nicely talk to us about "Lecture Protocol" which basically drove home the message "Shut up when people are talking". Those mugging inconsiderates seated behind me were doing physics during the lecture. Why in the world are these nut-cases hammering dents into the school reputation by droning on and on about friction and forces behind my back? Worst of all, they're so slow, unreceptive to body language and possess such non-existant skills of inference that they don't realize i'm staring at them to shut up. That's probably why they have to go into extra time to study their subjects. Save the world from all the immature people of the universe!

2 alternate posts about the immature youth of Singapore. Sadness and grief..

What Tommy said at the bustop came as a surprise.

I pray for Rui Qi's piano exam

I pray for Peace

I pray for the spookshow and learning journey.
