Band

It's been an interesting 4 months working with you.

BUT! There's always a but.. The following problems have to be tackled next year, and I mean it.

Discipline/Attitude Problems
1) Attendence - Punctuality and people who often don't come.
2) Courtesy - Talking while others are speaking, tuning.
3) Complaining - A task that's a little difficult will start everyone complaining.
4) Cleanliness - Band room's in a big mess.
5) Attire - Shirts tucked out, bright socks, moderately messy arrangement of shoes.
6) Individual Practice - Play your instrument regularly and read up on instrument tone, care, embrochure etc.

Music
1) Same thing, Individual Practice - Play your instrument regularly and read up on instrument tone, care, embrochure etc.
2) Muscality - Put expression in your music.
3) Sectionals - SLs, unify the music.
4) Tuning - Always listen within the section, other sections and the whole band.
5) Tuning - Learn to tune faster by understanding how to tune the instrument, read up.
6) High Notes, Scales, Chromatic Scales, Arpeggios - Do them often to improve technique and sight-reading.
7) Tone - Do long tones and listen to professional recordings.
8) Pulse - Marching and meteronome.
9) Theory - Read up and ask.
10) Roll - Practise often to get a cleaner roll.
